Siri on IOS 6 (For Iphone 3gs /4 & Ipod touch 4g)

Hello everyone,

Recently i have been getting some complains about the siri port guide which i posted some months back. Some people have faced a problem in the booting after installing siri port, according to them, they were unable to get pass the boot logo(totaly stuck) and they had to restore their phones.

I am really sad for the people who had to face the problem but cheer-up, today ill be guiding you on how to install a new siri (not siriport) , which doesn't have any problems or bugs like the previous one and the best thing about this siri is it supports ios 6 .



This Siri supports the following devices -Apple Iphone 3gs,  Iphone 4, Ipod touch 4g,  Apple IPAD.

So lets get started :-

Step 1-  You need to be on ios 6 (any ios 6 version) and you need to have your idevice jail broken.

Step 2- Once you are done with the first step , launch cydia ->  Manage -> Sources-> Edit -> Add.

Step 3- First repo you should add is http//cydia.bassamkassem.com/ and after adding, let it get downloaded.

Step 4- After the download , click on the newly added repo (can be found in sources) , then scroll down until you find Acid Siri.

Step 5- Select the Acid siri version for your ios version (example :- for IOS 6.0 , install acid siri IOS 6.0). It will take some time to download as it is the interface for the siri

Step 6- After installing Acid siri, re-boot your idevice.

Step 7- Now launch Cydia again , we need to add our second and the final repo.

Step 8- Second repo you should add is http://wordjelly.com/repo and let the packages get downloaded.

Step 9- After the download is completed , click on the wordjelly repo and  install  "IOS 6 WORDJELLY control panel".

Step 10- After the installation is completed, re-boot your device once again and there you go , you have successfully installed the new siri without any problem.

How to use Siri ?

-To use siri , just hold down your home button as in the iphone 4s and iphone 5. The best thing about this siri  is , it is the exact siri in iphone 4s , it can do all the things which the siri in iphone 4s does.

Please make sure you are connected to the internet when using siri, if not siri will not work.

-You can also improve siri's performance by installing the certificate. To do this just click on
settings ->  Word jelly (you need to scroll down) -> install the certificate.

Note :-


If siri doesn't launch after holding down the home button, just go to Settings-General-> Siri-> Turn it on. (Some times it might display as turned off but it is on, don't worry about that).

When you use siri for the first time , siri might not answer you but you have to keep trying , it might take up to maximum of 10 minutes. (It took me 5 minutes to get it working for me).

How to Install Siri on Iphone 4/3gs Or Ipod touch 4g/3g

Starting from Iphone 4s , Apple included a new voice control called Siri. Unfortunately the Siri wasn't launched for iphone 4, iphone 3gs or ipod touch 4g, 3g as Apple says that it doesn't have the required hardware to run Siri.

This guide will prove you that it's not true what apple has said, once you have installed Siri on your idevice. 

Be-warned i got to know that some people had an issue with the bootup after installing this version of siri, so i managed to find another version of Siri which doesn't have any problems at all.

So lets get started :- 

Step 1:- 

Make sure you have jail broken your device and you are running any version of IOS 5 (eg:- 5.0 , 5.1.1, etc)

Step 2:- 

Once you have jail broken your idevice , launch cydia and follow the given steps.

Open Cydia ---> Click manage ---> Sources ---> Edit ---> Add

Now add the following source : "repo.siriport.ru" 

Step 3:-

Once the adding of new source is completed, open the newly added source and install "Siri port original".

Note :- There will be 2 packages one for Iphone/ Ipod and the other one for ipads.

Step 4:-

After installing Siri port original , close cydia and go to your settings and open the Siriport tab down below, then click "Install certificate".
Once you click "Install certificate" it will take you to a new page , where you will be able to install the certificate from.

Step 5:-

Once the installing of Certificate is completed, reboot your idevice.

Step 6:-

After the reboot follow these given steps to make sure siri is enabled.

Open Settings ---> General ---> Siri

Make sure siri is enabled.

Step 7 :-

Once confirming Siri is enabled, hold down your home button to pop up siri.

That's it congratulations you have sucessfully installed Siri on your idevice. All the commands working on iphone 4s siri or iphone 5 sirs works with this siri as well , basically its the same siri.

Note :- 

Sometimes Siri might not work for the first time or might give errors , but you have to keep talking to Siri, like saying "HI" , "weather", etc.
It might take maximum of 15 - 20 minutes to get siri working.
If not try closing up and opening up siri again. I can guarantee you that once Siri starts working you will be good to go, so don't stop trying.
